    >Tips for every type of worker or executive:
    • Avoid all accounting Fraud
      Accounting Fraud not only includes financial reports, but includes cheating employees of benefits, especially in the area of pension benefits.
    • Reduce sick time
      Be sure to take vitamins to help your immune system fight off colds. Get a flue shot every year. Keep away from those that are sick.
    • Get plenty of Sleep
      You will perform best at work when you are not tired.
    • Reduce business costs by buying in volume
      Volume purchases usually mean lower per unit cost. Moreover, by buying in volume, you can also negotiate a lower price charged by the vendor or supplier.
    • Be creative in your business planning
      Brainstorming for ideas is helpful. Remember to include in brainstorming those that are the most creative, including disliked and eccentric employees. Consider all ideas, even those that seem to be "off the wall".
    • Meet all Commitments
      This is very important for keeping good relationships.
    • Seek to understand a view point or situation before acting
      Remember that misunderstanding happens all the time. Don't count on appearances.
    • Solve Quality problems by being proactive
      Prevention is the system of quality. Correct potential problems before they happen.
    • Be persistent
      This is often necessary to complete some tasks on time. Don't assume everything is going according to plan; check up on the progress.
    • Create Win-Win Situations
      Everyone benefits from a Win-Win agreement. Moreover, productivity will be increased as well.
    • Computerize as many operations as possible
      You will be able to accomplish more when routine tasks are computerized. Make the computer programs easy to use.
    • Establish a back-up if the computer is down
      It is important to continue operations when the computer is not working or a computer program is not accessible.
    • Start important tasks at the beginning of the week
      You will accomplish more if you start inportant and large tasks at the beginning of the week. Moreover, it is best to start early in the morning.
    • Avoid discrimination
      Do not discriminate in employment, especially on the basis of looks. That is age, race, and sex. Be honest at all times and consider this seriously.
    • Resolve Conflicts
      If you have a conflict with another person, go, see, and talk to that person. But First, pray to God about the conflict. Try to obtain a win-win solution to the conflict.
    • Put important information in writing
      Writing letters to solve problems is good; however, make sure that you use only facts in the letter -- leave out opinions. In addition, agreements should be put into writing if there is a chance someone will try to change the agreement at a later time.
    • Go Green
      Make sure that your business does not contribute to global warming and the melting of the ice glaciers. Conserve energy and fuel. Drive a fuel efficient vehicle for business and personal use. Be sure not to let the motor running when you stop or idle. Do not over cool your office and turn the lights out when you leave work.
    • Avoid Clicks
      Do not get involved in clicks at work to become a popular person. Clicks force people to compormise the right choices in business decisions and inhibit employees from being a witness to the gospel.
    • Work a long time
      Retire at later age such as 70 or later. If you begin collecting social security at age 70, you will receive the maximium social security benefit. Enjoy your work so that you can appreciate retiring at a later age.
    • Don't make stupid mistakes
      Test all processes for mistakes. Does the process work? Are there any problems? Note that even simple things can be messed up with a stupid mistake. Think about what you are doing!






    >Tips For Better Meetings
    • Don't have a meeting
      Many meetings are not necessary and are a waste of time, especially those meetings scheduled on a regular basis.
    • Have an agenda
      Having an agenda for each meeting will increase the probability of having a productive meeting.
    • Serve refreshments at the meeting
      Refreshments and food serve to reduce conflict at meetings. Be sure the refreshments and food are healthy and are appreciated by those attending the meeting.
    • Make sure everyone can attend
      It is important not to have wasted meetings; consequently, don't schedule meetings at a time when a necessary person has a conflict or is not available.
    • Use color overheads for presentations
      Color overheads command attention, and it shows that you put a lot of effort into the presentation.
    • Use colors in dry erase makers
      When using white boards, use other colors along with black dry erase markers. Colors help to highlight certain points that you want to make. Moreover, don't use dry erase markers that are dried up or need to be replaced.




    >Tips for Training for all employees
    • On the Job training is not sufficient
      Formal training classes are necessary to provide the latest and correct education. The person doing the training should be highly motivated and skilled in teaching.
    • Schedule breaks during the training
      A person's attention span is limited. Breaks help a person to remember more, since cramming is eliminated.
    • Don't teach when employees are tired
      The right time of the day is important, especially when the employees aren't highly motivated. Make sure each person has plenty of energy. Serve refresments to increase the person's energy.
    • Include practical demonstrations and practical exercises
      Doing increases the person's ability to retain what is taught.
    • Pass out writen material
      Writen material reinforces the learning and provides reference material for later use.
    • Speak so that you can be heard and understood
      Make sure to speak loud enough so that those in the back row can hear. Moreover, speak clearly and not too fast so that everyone can understand the lesson.
    • Ask questions
      Ask questions to those whom you are teaching. This reinforces the learning and gets the employees involved.
    • Prepare
      Prepare for teaching by reviewing the material.Know the material backwards and forwards, and be ready to answer questions.
    • Use the latest technology
      If you are incorporating computer terminals in the lesson, make sure that they are enough computer terminals for everyone. Hands on experience is important (no sharing). Before the training session starts, make sure that all relevant computer programs are running. It is also great to show videos that apply. Power Point presentations that combine graphics and text are excellent.
    • Use a combination of techniques
      Put basic principles or formula on overheads or on a powerpoint presentation. Then write out the details or solutions on the white board or on a flip chart. Make sure to use color markers.
    • Answer all questions
      Remember that there isn't a stupid question.




    >Tips for Everyday Activities
    • Be nice to everyone
      Kindness is important. Remember to be kind to those who give you a hard time. Also, keep in mind, don't cave in. Do what is right.
    • Decorate your office or cubicle
      A plain office or cubicle is a sign of a cold person. You want to be a caring person, and a decorated office or cubicle will brighten your day.
    • Be happy at work
      Smile while doing your work. Look for ways to help other employees. Pray for your company's success.
    • Dress well
      Dress as if your best customer or the company president was going to stop by. Bright colors are better than drab looking attire.
    • Fix what is wrong
      Parts of the organization at work, may need fixing. Encourage others to fix cituations that don't work very well. Suggest alternative ways of doing tasks that are more productive. Moreover, try to change the culture at work, to make it better.
    • Help others
      When another employee or client needs help, make sure to provide help. Give them ideas to solve a problem, to come up with a design, or achieve a new goal.
    • Think outside the box
      Come up with solutions to fix what isn't working, what went wrong, and potential future problems that are sure to happen.
    • Be on time
      Come to work on time and be sure not to leave work earily on a regular basis. The goal is to do a perfect Job. Finish what you are doing at the end of the day even if means staying a while longer.
    • Go Green
      Same energy when ever you can, both in electricity use and driving. Do not Idle your car engine when stopped.
    • Be Proactive
      Always anticipate problems, and solve them before they happen.
    • Be Holy
      Always think and act like a Holy person.
    • Think ahead
      Always think well into the future. What can be expected 10 years from now, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years?






  • Workplace chaplains are an excellent idea. They console employees and should spread the gospel indirectly.

  • Learn leadership skills at work, and later apply them at your church!!!

  • Help others at work. Support your company's goal. Do not tolerate bad ways of thinking about obligations, work, family, religion, and other employees. Eliminate or reduce complexity.

  • Work efficiently. Methods that are too time consuming should be changed. Look at processes for efficiency.



  • Do not forget about your home life and your love ones. Give glory to God for all that you have. Never lose hope. Stay healthy.




    Reduce travel to stay healthy. Ships can be a breeding ground for lots of germs and viruses. Work in a disinfected office or at home when necessary. Be careful if you travel by avoiding crowds and close contact with other people. Keep you hands out of your face and wash your hands frequently. Pray wherever you go.


    Always think ahead. Do not support stupid mistakes that may be caused by higher level managers. Do everything for a definite purpose, and do it correctly. Eliminate extra steps and extra paper work that do not bring any value. Does what you do have a beneficial purpose?


    A good leader does what is right and most important, does not depend on the approval of others for making a decision. What ever you do, be a leader and a good one. In addition, think ahead before making a decision that is important. Most important, be logical in planning and how to accomplish routine and difficult tasks. Also remember to be kind.
